When should a payment be made in order to receive renewal documents on time?

Payments should be made in advance of the bond renewal date. We generally recommend payments be made at least one to two weeks prior to the renewal date to allow ample time for us to generate your renewal bond, policy, or renewal certificate (if needed) and mail that document back to you to file with the obligee.
