TEXAS – STATE OF EMERGENCY DUE TO HURRICANE HARVEY

To assist CNA Surety customers impacted by Hurricane Harvey, we have implemented a grace period for the payment of premiums to allow continuing insurance and surety coverage.  We are allowing 30 extra days for the submission of premium payments from both principals and agents for any premiums that were due between August 23 and September 27, 2017 (or as may otherwise be directed by the state of Texas).

In addition, cancellations due to nonpayment of premium during this time period are suspended and the automatic cancellation process due to nonpayment of premium has been suspended for the entire State of Texas.  We are also in the process of reviewing any surety bonds or policies that were previously cancelled in the affected counties back to August 23, 2017.

If you receive a cancellation or nonrenewal notice in error, please contact us immediately so that we may reinstate the bond or policy.  If you have any questions or concerns, please contact our Surety Customer Service Department at 800-331-6053 or info@cnasurety.com.
