What is the fee you charge to overnight a bond/policy/endorsement? Our standard overnight fee is $20.

What is your preferred overnight carrier? UPS is our preferred overnight carrier; however, if you provide an account number for another overnight carrier, we will use that other carrier at your request.

Can I get a quote from CNA Surety over the phone? We can provide our standard rates for bonds over the phone; however, we cannot provide a quote to you over the phone. To obtain a quote from CNA Surety, you must submit a completed and signed application along with complete underwriting for consideration.

Can I email an application to CNA Surety instead of faxing or mailing the application to your Company? Yes, you can email an application for consideration to the following address: uwservices@cnasurety.com. This is not a secure site, however, so if that is a concern, you may want to fax or mail the application to us.

How long does it take before we hear back on a new application? We strive to respond to new bond application requests within 2 business days or sooner; however, there could be interruptions due to holidays or other extenuating circumstances.

What if we are not licensed in the state where the bond is needed? We have a referral arrangement through which we can handle the bond request for you. The agency is the SUR Insurance Agency, Inc., and they are licensed and appointed with us in all 50 states. Simply submit your bond request directly to us and indicate that you need the request referred, and we will process the request accordingly.
